Tabletop Gaming Apps End the Year on a Mixed Note in the UK

As the year 2023 wrapped up, Sensor Tower's data reveals the performance of the top five tabletop board games on Android in the United Kingdom during the fourth quarter. The apps showed diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Chess - Play and Learn from Chess.com saw its revenue fluctuating but ending on a high note with $25K in the last week of December. Downloads peaked at nearly 10K in the same period, while weekly active users increased to around 230K.

Backgammon - Lord of the Board, by Beach Bum Ltd., experienced a downward trend in revenue, finishing at $8.8K. Downloads, however, rose to 781 in the final week, and active users saw an uptick to over 10K.

Scopely's YAHTZEE With Buddies Dice Game showed a more stable revenue pattern, ending the quarter at $9.2K. The app's downloads spiked to over 1.6K, and active users climbed to approximately 22K by year's end.

SuperPlay's Domino Dreams™ launched earlier in the year and saw its revenue grow to $8.7K. The game's downloads reached 2.8K, while active users increased to over 10K in the last week of December.

Lastly, Ludo Club - Dice & Board Game from Moonfrog had a revenue of $7.8K in the final week, with downloads jumping to 4.8K. Weekly active users also saw a rise, reaching nearly 60K.
